I can't believe people think Maidana can just try and rush Floyd like he did with Broner. Do you think Mayweather would have no answer to that? Hard to believe some people really know what they're watching sometimes

I would say Maidana stands basically no chance against Mayweather but i do believe he has earned a payday.

Maidana is as good an opponent as most, but there's no way he beats Floyd. I don't think he would even win a round against Mayweather. It would be an easier version of the Canelo fight. Mayweather will retire undefeated unless he gets complacent.

If it's going to happen, it has to be now, May 3rd. Because then you risk losing a decent name like Maidana if he loses to Thurman or Porter who are less marketable to the Hispanic fanbase. The only fight GBP should risk Maidana in is a Khan rematch, winner gets to fight Floyd September. Put Maidana in with Thurman or Porter and you risk him losing.
