Speaking as an American I would never turn my back on a fellow countryman the way people in this country has done Floyd because he's flashy. It was brought up in the Rigo thread. Bob said he couldn't promote a fighter like Floyd. He could never make him an Oscar fight and laughed at the thought...he was unmarketable. Floyd bought his contract out left and became the highest paid boxer in the history of the sport. It's not surprising he doesn't want to make money for a guy who told Floyd he wasn't going to make any money...and then went right out and did just that. You can call it petty but if my boss said I didn't have the skills to get a promotion at work, and I quit and started my own company making much more than I would've imagined just getting the promotion I'd be sour too. Business is lost on these forums though and most lack the commonsense to even try to understand it.

Floyd's got the deal he's got so why should he care who Pacquaio gives his money too? He's always hated Bob Arum apparently so why did he want to allow Arum to be involved before?
