This is the only thing I can think of. Oscar has no clue about it because he is just the puppet and name, Oscar still thinks the fight can be made, but he has no idea about the type of contract or discussions Floyd has with Richard.

Floyd doesn't want to fight Pacquiao, and Arum excuse is lame.

How childish is this that you won't work with someone when everyone in boxing promoter wise are pretty much snakes?
You idiot !!! Pac is over 60 million in dept. to the IRS and the Philippines because of Arum and you still have the GAWL to still blame Floyd ??!! MY God pac fans are as ****** as their hero.. Letting Arum **** him out of millions and you expect Floyd to do the same just to fight Pac ?!?! GTFO !!!

Arum doesn't want this fight, but the amount of sheep that continue to believe Golden Boy does is something else entirely.

And where is everybody that used to complain about Top Rank's in house fights? When's the last time Golden Boy worked with another promoter on a main event, not some ****ty untelevised undercard?
Manny is desperate enough to accept less money now, but his promoter isn't desperate for money and would make certain demands in his best interest even though he has no leverage to make demands. That's one of the problems that some Pacquiao fans refuses to acknowledge when it comes for this fight to get made. You can blame Floyd for constantly acting like Manny doesn't exist in his world, and couldn't care less about him.

You can blame Schaefer for acting like a younger version of Arum and giving him a taste of his own medicine, and you should also blame Manny for being Arum's puppet when he has power to force Arum's hand unlike his other TR promoted stablemates, but chose to remain a puppet even after years of red flags that he needed to take control of the business side of his career.

Great post. Bottom line, Arum doesn't bow down to other promoters/fighters, they bow down to him, but Floyd and GBP have to reason to just give in to whatever Arum wants. Arum is the B-side, and he should be treated like one.

Yet he was willing to cut Arum in on the deal before? Strange.

But when it comes to BUSINESS, and that's the keyword here, Floyd views Arum with disgust for the most part. If that weren't the case, Floyd would've done business with Top Rank after all these years. Similar to Cotto.

I think Arum dropped the ball during the first negotiations. That was the closest Floyd ever got to doing business with Arum again. Even though Oscar is a snake, Floyd sees Arum as a more poisonous snake when it comes to business.

FINALLY Goldenboy is flexing their superior muscle and ousting that P.O.S. loser Bob Arum. Thinking of all the fights Bob Arum has robbed us of, we can only take pride and comfort in the fact that Bob Arum will soon die of old age, knowing his company got ran into the ground by his two biggest stars that he robbed...Oscar and Floyd...and his son Todd Duboef will soon be applying for a janitorial position at Goldenboy Headquarters while Boxing fans are whizzing on his grave.

So was Bob Arum not going to be involved when Mayweather supposedly offered 50/50 and then again when he offered $40m?
