Do people seriously want to see Mayweather against another slow, flatfooted, come forward brawler with no jab? He's been fighting these types of opponents for years.

Go on all you want about who "deserves" it more but Khan is clearly a more interesting fight because he presents Mayweather with things he's never faced before or at least hasn't for a while.

The media was hyping him up. He was undefeated (yes he fought lesser opposition) young, black and a trash talker. He ran with the wanna be Mayweather personality aka being the vilian etc.

I'm sure down the line once the dust settles and he actually matures he will be a star, might be outside the boxing ring though.

                  ^^^^This.

When it comes down to it, Khan is a much better opponent than Maidana. Belts are meaningless in this case. Everybody recognizes Floyd as the 147 champ right now.

Competitive wise, Khan is better than Maidana. I only want Maidana to get it for the Payday.
Khan could probably steal the fight with flurries of activity and minimizing the damage he takes.
But who knows how he'll fight with the new trainer... hopefully he doesn't try to outbox Mayweather.
