It would be an interesting fight to the public IF Maidana gets another win under his belt. He'd have to beat someone like Bradley to really set himself up for a Mayweather payday, though. Beating Broner isn't enough, although it adds to the build up since Floyd and Broner are so close.

Well Maidana has a belt, has actually fought at ww, is coming off a big win and a big year, and he hasn't looked like garbage in his last 3 fights like Khan has.

Maidana deserves it more and honestly will put on a better fight even though he will lose. At least he will make it deep into the fight unlike Khan who gets ko'd.

This makes sense. Some folks don't want it thinking Floyd would make Maidana look pretty bad.

This is actually a pretty decent fight if they can make it happen.
