You guys are being way too hard on Broner. He needs to focus on boxing, which he doesn't seem to be. Can he make a name for himself at 147? Probably depends where he goes from here, I think he'll bounce back better than Canelo will. He was not the better man tonight and showed he has some huge defensive flaws. Can we stop the Mayweather comparisons now? It's not even close....will he be the face of boxing? Probably not but, he can still be a name if he decides to focus on boxing and stop the band camp nonsense...time will tell.

I honestly think he and Mayweather may have been planning to join up for TMT after Floyd retires and goes into full promotion mode...that plan now seems done for. Kinda like Oscar did with Floyd when he wanted to really start promoting, sign him up and build the company on that one asset.

Ab was touching dana when he was boxing using his speed with combos but that first knockdown spooked ab you could tell after that he wasnt the same he was frusterated scared and comfused all at once!
Fighting off the ropes against dana leaning back and dropping ur hands is a blueprint to getting beat by a power puncher thats the differance between floyd an ab floyd makes adjustments and never lets anything shake him or knock him off his gameplane ab showed he is a good fighter not great he also lost respect for runnin away lika b**ch wit his hands up on his sides hanging wit tears in his eyes!!!!!!!

pretty much, it was like any joe off the street tyring to use floyds moves he seen on tv and failing badly, he needs to adapt his own style and figure out what works for him, he thinks he can go in there and slip every shot like Floyd and adjust. its different when the guy can hurt you and walk you down!

Broner thought he was better than he is, he thought he was in the same class as Mayweather but it couldn't of been further from the truth. He moved up in weight to fast for starters, something Floyd didn't do. Then he doesn't have the experience to take on fighters that are bigger like Floyd does, he was just in over his head.

I also noticed a long time ago is that Broner lifts weights too much for a boxer which could be why he kept shaking his arms early and doesn't throw much. His arms fill up with blood too quick making them heavy

Despite what Marcos says if Broner really had power at WW then he should of been able to keep Maidana off of him particularly early in the fight. Maidana just gassed.at certain points like he always does so Bronerss punches probably hurt more in those moments
