he did land some nice, clean combos, but none of those shots seemed like they had too much pop to me. and what chin are you speaking of at 47? he just fought paulie then chino and got knocked down twice lol. granted chino is a big puncher he's only had two fights at 47 and the evidence doesn't really stack to his favor

Broner's biggest problem is he does not control range behind the shell. Maidana kept looping his shots around the guard and hit Broner on the sides and top of his head.

The Philly shell is only a defensive base, it requires good reflexes and legs along with it. Floyd is fantastic at it, but he uses way more than the shell. He also uses lateral movement and superb upper body movement along with it.

To me, his biggest problem is his flat footedness. How can he ever get really good defensively being flat footed? How can he ever become an elite offensive guy being flat footed? He can get away with it for a while, until he faces a fighter who has bounce in their feet and solid fundamentals. That's why Paulie did so well despite a lack of punch snap.

Ab was touching dana when he was boxing using his speed with combos but that first knockdown spooked ab you could tell after that he wasnt the same he was frusterated scared and comfused all at once!
