I didn't realize they had sparred... When was it, a few years ago when both were coming up in the lower weight classes and before rios had become a punching bag for Alvarado and manny... Broner has one tough fight vs Maidana so he doesn't have nearly the mileage that rios has.. So I can see a fight being different now...

Plus I don't put a whole lot of stock into who wins sparring wins a pro fight.. I have seen spadafora outwork Floyd, doesn't mean he would do it in a pro fight...

Honestly, I'm not trying to defend broner,, rios could possibly win, no doubt. I just don't agree of basing a prediction on a sparring session

Broner wins his fights by knocking motherf**kers out. Mostly little, highly overmatched dudes.

Then he decided to jump up. Power didn't carry over. He doesn't outwork anybody (never has). And now he can get hurt. Badly. He would just walk down MFs at lower weights. That's out the window at 140 up.

He's not going to walk down Rios, outwork Rios, and he sure as hell isn't going to KO Rios. I'm not just trying to bash Broner for the sake of bashing Broner...I just don't see any way how he wins the fight.

It's obvious that Rios would win in similar fashion to Maidana.

Adrien Broner possibly hasn't a good enough reply to Rios chin, and would most likely get bullied into inside fighting where Rios is very dangerous.
He'll need footwork in order to beat Rios, an ability which he doesn't seem to be showing.
