If you thought objectively I dont know how anybody thought Broner wins easily

I picked Maidana by KO but ultimately believed Maidana would win.

Check the poll I had Maidana winning in case any clown starts BSing.

Now to the topic, if you look at the Rees fight Broner was getting hit way to much for supposedly having this "Mayweather'esque" defense.

Then you look at the fact that Broner is way to small for welterweight considering he coulnt dominate Paulie a freakin no power dude that Khan, Cotto, and even freakin Hatton tore up.

Simply put Broner does not have the upper body movement, legs, power and skills basically to over compensate for his lack of size and power at the higher weight classes.

Broner is still a good fighter, hell maybe even a great fighter BUT AS LONG AS HE STAYS AWAY FROM WELTERWEIGHT.

Not saying he's invincible at 135 but at that weight class he is solid.

I know some peeps talking about Broner is going to come back stronger but I would say to those peeps WHAT IS BRONER GOING TO DO???

All of a sudden get power???

    Get bigger???

    Get skills really fast???

Broner is limited just like every fighter but his limitations are to big that they seriously hurt him when he goes higher up the weight classes.

I said all along that maidana's power was going to be too much for broner. I mean look at the guys broner has fought? None of them were punchers except for De leon who is a featherweight.

To be honest I thought Broner's speed would be too much, I thought he would just be ultra offensive, but when I saw that their reach was the same I had my doubts. Maidana is a dangerous fight for anyone even Floyd, I said he has legit p4p power that has carried over VERY WELL to welterweight. He may be an even harder puncher at 147.

        I felt the same way.

Even at the De Leon fight Broner was fighting somebody his size and you saw the trouble he had but in that weight class Broner has just enough to get the win while BEING COMFORTABLE TO A LARGE DEGREE.

This night Broner from the get go you realized THIS ISH WAS GOING TO BE BAD FOR BRONER.

Broner has speed but what good is speed when YOU HAVE NO LEGS, YOU CANT CLINCH TACTICALLY WELL, YOUR DEFENSE IS NOT MAYWEATHERESQUE, YOUR THERE TO BE HIT ALL NIGHT, YOUR SPEED HAS NO GREAT POWER OR DOENST KEEP OPPONENTS ON CHECK LIKE FLOYD CAN.

Broner just doenst have the skills to over compensate for his lack of size and power at welterweight.

            I don't either.

I don't understand how you could think Broner would win this fight with ease.

I just hadn't seen enough improvement from Maidana in his past fights to make me a believer he had improved that much from being face****d by Devon Alexander. He sure impressed me tonight though, easily the best I can remember him looking.

Broner has awful footspeed and it's been very apparent. Maidana cut the ring off so well.

I thought the Paulie fight may have just been a bad style match up because he couldn't really set his power shots off against Paulie but his power definitely isn't anything to brag about at 147.

The fact that Paulie would make Broner miss so much at tells you alot.

Mayweather when he has an opponent try to dance on him he still whoops his ass.

Maidana is still a one dimensional fighter that Devon, Mayweather, and Khan would easily beat.

This was a case of the typical "Styles Make Fights" argument.

Maidana is still the same fighter.
