This. Thurman would rearrange his face.

Porter 50/50. Leaves himself, WIDE OPEN.

Maidana vs Thurman is the most natural fight to make at WW.

LMAO at people not giving maidana a chance against thurman. Anyone with that kind of power, tenacity and determination can beat anybody at any given night. The **** you think Thurman is God or some ****? Maidana's punches come from weird angles that will catch you off guard. He could knock anybody out at WW!!!

Maidana has fought way better fighters than thurman and is proven.

The problem would be Thurman's boxing ability and movement. He is not stationary and inactive like Broner. I think it would be another war like Maidana is so used to being in, aside from the Alexander fight. There would be no boring moment in Maidana vs Thurman.

Maidana isn't always dangerous, for large chunks of fights he isn't dangerous at all. He failed to stop shot shot Corley, a fat shot Morales and only managed to really put danger on Khan late in the fight.

You are talking about Thurmans defense tightening up, what about Maidana? He is even easier to hit, all you have to do is compare there fights against JSK.

Yeah they might fight though I imagine a Floyd fight might be on the cards for Maidana, but if he goes the Thurman route we can see for sure...
Don't get to confidence, we all know if thurmans play his card right he will dominate Maidana. but thurmans hasn't tested yet. does he have the chin to take big puncher like maidana? can he endure the pressure from maidana? just like the OP said maidana have perfect record again undefeated fighter, coz usually young and undefeated fighter hasn't tested yet.

The shock factor can play big in Maidana-Thurman fight.

Oh thurman will be a lot tougher than broner's flat footed ass for sure. But it's just funny to me that people think thurman would easily beat maidana like chino is just going to lay down. A guy like maidana is difficult to box because his punches are very unconventional. it's hard to read. And with that kind of power he can put thurman's lights out anytime.
