Thurman and Porter would both beat him.

IDK about Thurman, tonight wasn't the first time I have seen him buckled after being clipped early in a fight Chino maybe rush at him at the bell drop him and get rid of him.

I doubt it, Thurman would keep his head and outbox him then break him down for a stoppage. Maidana doesn't have the type of one shot power to keep him down, nor does he have the tools to land the right number of bombs to force a stoppage.

And I'm not overly high on Thurman, I just don't rate Maidana.

If Thruman is careful early and gets into his rhythm using his footwork yeah he probably would stop him late after sweeping round but Chino is always dangerous at any point and Thurman's defense could be tightened up a bit he is very open when he is attacking......still he is now Maidana's mando right? I hope that fight comes off soon.

Thurman fights very careful certainly more than Maidana who has been hurt or buzzed by a bunch of fighters.

Maidana isn't always dangerous, for large chunks of fights he isn't dangerous at all. He failed to stop shot shot Corley, a fat shot Morales and only managed to really put danger on Khan late in the fight.

You are talking about Thurmans defense tightening up, what about Maidana? He is even easier to hit, all you have to do is compare there fights against JSK.

Yeah they might fight though I imagine a Floyd fight might be on the cards for Maidana, but if he goes the Thurman route we can see for sure...

LOL you have no clue of what you're talking about.

Thurman doesn't fight careful at all, he was getting rocked by Karass when he tried to get fresh at the start. He of course dominated him as the fight went on because he's much quicker.

I don't think many people will give Maidana a chance against Thurman and Porter, but that is where Maidana is at his best, when he isn't given a chance. He was supposed to get KO'ed by Broner, and was just another opponent for Ortiz. He whooped both.

On the other hand, Maidana was predicted to do good against Alexander and Morales but turned out mediocre. In fact, the majority of people were saying Alexander only wins by robbery. Maidana was also supposed to KO Khan, even though he almost did, he lost.

So although I have both Thurman and Porter beating him, as will many others, Maidana can show up and get the KO/win like he does when he is counted out.
