Can't really see how Broner can recover from this

His image was based on hate. People wanted him to lose..

I agree to an extent. His image is what got him into this tonight. Instead of building a resume at 35. GBP started trying to manufacture events for him. The Paulie fight was a manufactured event that was relatively safe because he can't punch. The miscalulation came in when GBP overrated AB's skill set. They thought he could simply outclass Maidana.

That said, losing the persona is probably the best thing that can happen for AB. He can take as back down to 35 and just be a boxer for now. Because I have no doubt in my mind the dog-n-pony show was gonna continue had he won tonight. I truly believe that GBP was gonna try and manufactire another even and move him up to 54 and try and snatch a paper trinket from the light hitting Molina.

Broner's not a WW fool. The people you are naming are all taller than Broner. Height plays a role just as much as weight does. Broner doesn't have the height or reach to make up for his lack to height If all you can say is he blew up to 156 but Garcia and Matthyese do the same thing at 140! you're not making any sense. I would agree with you if he got knocked out cold by a lucky punch in the first or second round, but he didn't. He got beat by a B fighter, at best, for 12 rounds. For 12 rounds, he couldn't adjust to the style of a slow, plodding, gassing fighter with a suspect chin. What makes you think he will change his style after 24 years? He won't.

He just was never and will never be as good as you thought he was, that's all.

Can't wait to hear what Broner have to say after this lost. Not only did he lose, but he did so in the most embarrassing way. Knocked down twice and out worked for nearly all 12 rounds en route to losing is 0. I think Al Haymon actually left the arena when it was apparent that Broner was getting whooped.

He left when Thurman hit the ring and never came back..I think he was interested in signing Seda..the kid got skills just no power at the division he fought Leo at.

Broner didn't look small. I don't know where people are getting that from. Dude simply never had his chin tested by a real heavy handed puncher. With maidana he did and he crumbled.

Broner looked small compared to Maidana. I was surprised to hear to weighed 156 lbs. I thought he was in the mid 140s the way he looked. I was even a little surprised to hear Maidana being 161 lbs.
