Is there a chance that Broner/Maidana turns into a Guerrero/Berto tonight?

Nah. More like some Kosta/Zab ****. Only way I see Maidana winning.

Broner will KO Maidana with a body shot. Golden Boy matchmakers know that Maidana is tough, solid name but can't take it to the body.

Now since Broner wants to act like a badass lets see him fight Keith Thurman who is his mandatory after this fight.

Guerrero smashing Berto in the face and Berto constantly shaking his head. I can see Broner doung the same. He was doing it against Malignaggi.

Let's be honest: the consensus is that, if Broner shows DECENT defense, and actually has good pop on his punches at 147, then Maidana is nothing more than a (slow) moving target. We can't really hold the Paulie fight against him...it's not like Paulie was ever anyone's punching bag besides Cotto's.

Maidana is going to give broner a lot of problems with his power. Broner has never faced a guy that can punch. Ponce De leon was a decent puncher but he is a 126 pounder. Maidana has real WW power.

I think broner will use his feet a lot and maybe win a UD but I would not be surprised at all if maidana stops him. If Broner brawls with chino he gets Knocked out no doubt.

              No.

There's a chance that Guerrero vs Broner turns into Guerrero vs Berto.

Maidana is not a southpaw with the decent boxing skills and outside and inside boxing game of Guerrero. Guerrero is a hybrid boxer/come forward fighter. Maidana is an all out brawler.

I don't know what you are talking about. Paulie came back to make the Cotto fight close. Just cause he had a broken jaw or whatever, doesn't mean he was a punching bag. In fact without the KD Paulie would have lost only 113-114, 112-115 x2, which would be really close. Still 112-115, 111-115 x2 is not what I would consider a punching bag. Paulie fought the fight of his life.

I'm in agreement with this. GB has way too much invested in broner. His first time at 147 they give him a boxer with no power and he gets a tough split decision. Now theyre giving him a brawler with limited skill who's known to be soft in the body. If broner wins hes already talking about winning a 4th division belt so he'll probably vacate and avoid thurman. I'd like to be wrong though. Maidana has the jab working and a bit of head movement going with garcia now, but it may be too late in his career to be effective changes. Hopefully the power makes the difference

Hatton and especially khan destroyed Paulette and both fights were stopped by the ref.

Can battered Paulette in one of their roudns aswell stunned and dropped him, he won 117-111 on my card. Pauline was lucky to get a win vs Cano. Paulette being hard to hit is overplayed, those 3 guys i mentioned hit him way more than Broner did, yet Broner is supposed to this super talent, i don't get it.
