I know no one else will, but if he fights Molina, I'll actually buy it.

Yeah Lara showed he deserves the fight by teaching Canelo how you really win a fight against Trout.

Face it Canelo is scared of Lara and wants no part of him.

Cotto being priority makes a lot of sense, he's just worth far too much money.

If Cotto falls through, I really think only Lara and Molina make sense at 154. Angulo is not on the level to fight Canelo, even if it would be a fun fight.

What I do like if Canelo fights Molina, is if Lara would fight Kirkland. Angulo gave Lara as much trouble as he could handle, knocking him down twice and aside from a huge bulge in the head, he was right in that fight. And Kirkland hits harder and punches better and has better stamina than Angulo.

Canelo - Molina with Lara - Kirkland on the undercard would be awesome and the winners fighting each other for unified belts would be fair.

That would also give Lara a chance to build more fans. He won no real fans in the Trout fight. Sure, he dominated, but that's only because Trout was a little worse of a boxer earlier on and had to pursue to have any shot at winning. Unfortunately, Trout just had no clue how to move his legs in pursuit, so Lara just easily ran around most of the night. But it's not like Lara did a whole lot, he had what like 125 punches landed for the entire fight? So Lara vs Kirkland forces Lara into throwing a lot and if Lara wins he's going to win over fans and that makes a Canelo Lara clash all the more exciting and valuable.

How by winning a ud with a knockdown while landing 40% of your power shots?
And making him miss all night?

Not really leftovers when Alvarez needed open scoring and corrupt judges to win a disputed fight.

I wouldn't mind seeing Canelo against Angulo, Kirkland, or Rabchenko.

Lara and Molina would give him tough fights but they tend to be boring to watch so I understand why Schaefer would be wary of putting them on his first ppv.

I'll give you an example Angulo dropped Lara twice but didn't have him hurt and Lara hurt Angulo and made him quit.
Dumb ass obviously didn't read the article.

Canelo vs Angulo will be an action packed fight and the most entertaining out of all the names mentioned and as far as I'm concerned that's the reason to watch boxing so I hope they get the fight done.
