Danny will knock Pac the **** out

Pac is easy to hit and Danny times his punches beautifully, Pac walks into to something huge

add that with Pacquiao's chin who just got obliterated by marquez not to mention he's been ko'd several times before, i stand confidently by my statement that Garcia can put pac to sleep with a well countered shot.

Sure Garcia aint Marquez but he's better than Rios and a past prime margarito who were both able to land shots on Pacquiao who is no defensive wizard.

You're the one overrating Pacquiao and underrating Garcia when you make statements like slaughter him. Pacquiao's slaughtering days are wayyyyyyy behind him. He couldnt slaughter a mediocre stationary punching bag like rios. What makes you think this past prime version of Pacquiao is gonna slaughter a careful and cerebral young counter punching fighter like Garcia?
Matthysse is NOTHING like Pacquiao. Absolutely nothing like him. Making any judgments on a Pac-Garcia fight based on that is ridiculous.

Rios landed very little, and he and Margarito are come forward guys, not fighters who wait and counter like Garcia. And you really wouldn't call what he did to Rios a slaughter? He messed Rios up.

Pacquiao would be too quick for Garcia and land on him all night, and avoid most of what came his way.

This just sounds like the typical "Pac can't handle counter punching" crap people have said for years about him. One counter puncher in an entire career handled Pacquiao, an ATG who needed 4 tries to do so. Past prime Pacquiao is still plenty good enough to be a class above Danny Garcia.

actually they are somewhat similar. they are both aggressive come forward fighters with heavy hands and are both similar in stature. Both dont have great defenses and are there to be hit.

Pacquiao being susceptible to smart, counter punching, boxers is common knowledge. Garcia is a young, in his prime, smart, counter puncher with above average pop. Pacquiao is past prime and has been KO'D multiple times.

That's what i base my judgement on which by the way i voted for pacquiao to win but i could see Garcia catching him and dropping, hurting, possibly ko him.

Rios landed very little, and he and Margarito are come forward guys, not fighters who wait and counter like Garcia. And you really wouldn't call what he did to Rios a slaughter? He messed Rios up.
Exactly. Garcia isnt a brainless brawler with no skill like Rios and a past prime margarito. He's much better. And no, pacquiao did not slaughter rios, certainly wouldnt do that to Garcia. It would be a competitive fight mirroring the Marquez fights.

Pacquiao would be too quick for Garcia and land on him all night, and avoid most of what came his way.

Bo, im a pacquiao fan, we can go ahead and safely concede that Pacquiao struggles with counter punchers. There's a reason why people say it, including pacquiao fans. Bradley with a bum ankle using smart boxing and counter punching was able to convince judges he beat pacquiao. This isnt just marquez. This old past prime barerra too. He was able to survive vs pacquiao because he didnt come forward and brawl. He was strategic about it.

Like i said, i voted for pacquiao but i can easily see Garcia catching pacquiao with his counters. Certainly wouldnt be no slaughter.

It will be a difficult fight for the pacman but he will win. I think the god speed combinations and straight left will completely knock the swifts teeth off.

pacquiao would own garcia, cotto also had a hell of a left hook, cotto can counter and he's faster than garcia

danny's defence is also open for the southpaws cross

                Manny would beat garcia,

but danny has a great shot of landing a counter ala jmm, and hurting or icing pac...

I favor manny 60/40 in this fight, but danny is one of the few guys in the world that has a legit chance of beating manny..

I dont think danny could ever outpoint him for 12 rounds, but i do think garcia could clip him in the middle of exchanges,, that would be his only chance

This is a dangerous fight for Pac. Danny's power is serious. Pac needs to keep away from Danny and Broner.

Matthysse doesn't have half the speed or movement of a Manny Pacquiao and is right handed. Outside of usually being the aggressor, they have little in common.

Rios landed some, but very little, and that was going at Pacquiao aggressively. Margarito was huge and never stopped coming, he threw a ton of punches. To say "they landed, therefore a guy who sits back and counterpunches will land more" makes no sense.

Bradley didn't use smart boxing and counter punching to convince anyone of anything. He was one the fortunate end of one of the most baffling robberies in recent years, and landed very little of any note on a Pacquiao half-assing it. Barrera survived the second fight because he's a great, tough fighter that fought dirty and fought smarter than Danny Garcia will probably ever be capable of.

I'm almost 100% confident Pacquiao would have an easy night with Garcia, whose defense would not be good enough to avoid Pacquiao's punches and would not be fast enough to land his own. One thing we did see against Matthysse that's relevant is how much trouble Danny had landing on Lucas for the first half of that fight, a Matthysse you say is there to be hit.

Anyone that doesn't move like Margarito gives him tons of trouble. Danny would tax that a$$. Pac aint punching holes in anyone anymore, no one afraid of his power anymore. His angles, ok. But power? No. Not since Ariza left...

Would rather see Lucas vs Manny ..
