I caught alot of Thurman's fights... his stiffest comp was his last. He got a lucky ko, otherwise, that fight could have gone either way.....
Just believe he's never been dragged in the mud like JSK.....
Same with Broner, these guys were fed sliver spoons while the latter had to work their way up the food chain to get where they are.
JSK was a onetime gate-keeper who worked his ass off to be a co-feature.
Same with El-Chino. You have to respect where these dudes been, and where they are now!

Do I think they can win? no but they have a punchers chance, that what we love about the underdog, one shot can change what happens to young hot-shots in the game. All you have to do is look at JML, Juan Diaz, and recently Abner Mares & Noito Donaire.....

The other fight wasn't a lucky KO. He chose to box, break him down and he fell a few times.

Thurman does need to face better opponents but I feel he will shock a lot of people. He to me will beat people such as Berto, Guererro, Paulie, Maidana etc... Just not the top tier yet.

Than you would be dead as well and would likely deserve to be. Someone dieing is nothing to laugh at or poke fun at. Broner is a numbskull for saying he will beat El Chino to death. There is just no need for that sort of rubbish. Beat him unconscious, beat him silly, beat him to sleep but don't think of beating a man to death. Coming from AB's biggest fan and probably the only person who has him at #2 in their top 10 favourite fighters. Shame on him for the in the moment "n!gga talk".

He does run his mouth a lot but the guy makes light of a lot of things and that mentality will virtually always lead to failure and self-destruction.

I think he's playing a role, performing his character, and about 95% of what comes outta his mouth is bull**** and probably 180 degrees from what he truly feels or believes. The only time I listen to AB is when he says something without the Floyd mannerisms, the lil Floyd studder, without a Floyd quote, without the Floyd swag, or anything else that is Floyd. Which is NEVER in front of a camera.

i def respect both maidana and soto HB but thurman's last oppenent was hella tough and there was nothing lucky about that bodyshot. all im saying is thurman might box sometimes but he is always aggresive he never "runs". soto has NEVER been known as a big puncher.

Thurman is going to have to find doubt in JSK. That's where we have a difference in opinion.

old univision telemundo brawler haha i agree 100% i like soto alot and feel thurman will def get pushed cuz soto is tough as they come. i trained in the same gym as soto for awhile in north hollywood and he is a cool dude i just think thurman could be special

I think the list is FM, pac, ward, canelo, cotto, hopkins etc etc no one knows AB as a fighter just as a classless guy who tries so hard to imitate PBF.
