True. It seems odd that a fighter would choose to call out a guy coming off a loss for a BAD headliner where he will make 500k rather than the chance to be the b side on a ppv against the #2 ppv draw for 4-6 times as much.

Its really just a power struggle going on between Arum and Roach. Arum wants to make the smart business move. And that's Provo. He's hot right now and tailormade for Pac. Pac beats him easy and eases closer to re-establishing his aura. Obviously Roach doesn't wanna match his two best fighters. Pac is on his way out. So he wants to keep Ruslan winning so he still is relevant when Pac is done.

Ruslan is being respectful enough for not wanting to stop Pacman in the ring.. Because that is what would happen, simple as that. He already let it be known that after watching Pac's last fight he felt Pac should retire. He is a friend who is worried about Pac's health. Hype? He almost took Bradley's head completely off. He has a granite chin, great speed, sledge hammer power and he chases guys around the ring.. Work his boxing and defense skills and I predict he will be unstoppable in the near future. JMM would get embarrased and stopped by this man.
