The fight isn't at the weight class of the belt if the challenger doesn't make weight, for the challenger. It's up to the champion whether or not he sticks at his weight and challenges for the other belt in this case.

i'm not going to lie and say that i'm not dissapointed. i had really hoped that odlanier solis was fined for being a fat slob and wasting his talent.

read the post twice if you need to. and understanding of the nature of the weight class is quite obviously implied. it's imperative. it's not humor if it's not being implied.
Yall mfs are crazy. And put me down for another who totally expected this to be pertaining to Odlanier Solis.

I had the momentary thought run through my head that some boxing promoter or manager had decided enough was enough and gave Solis a weight limit to get to and the fat **** still missed it. Damn.

I forgot about this fight. Surprised he got the whole pay up front.

normally a title goes vacant if the guy that doesn't make weight wins...most guys get their $$ after the bout, except in super bouts, r only a % paid in advance......funny , the normally shrewd Japanese promoter erred on this...may have 2 go thru the sanction body 2 get it if he waiting 4 Solis 2 return it...

                    Im right with you.

Solis' manager should take note. Anything over 230lb he has to buy all paying spectators dinner
