So you'd be opposed to a Garcia-Porter fight in March or April at 147???

I'd rather see that, but I can't knock Garcia-Paulie. It's the same as Broner-Paulie for me, a decent fight, decent win type of fight.

He's allowed one voluntary defense before he fights Brook that is if he's still champ after that.

Yes I most certainly would be. If you haven't competed in that divison you dont deserve a title shot.

It wasn't about the match up dude. Everyone's problem was that Broner was getting a title without having fought once at 147. Hell, he hadn't even had a fight at 140.

Garcia Paulie will be Danny's first fight at 147.

So.....you were opposed to Mayweather-De La Hoya in 2007??? The universal fight everyone in the world wanted at that time. Or you were opposed to Mayweather-Castillo, when all Floyd had done at LW was a little comeback tune up against Emmanuel Agustus prior to his mega 130 fight with Corrales???

We know why Pauli wants the fight ($$$), but if Broner gets **** for having his first fight at 147 be against feather fisted Pauli, than Garcia should take the same heat if he takes this fight.
Too many other good fights against Golden Boy fighters to be made to accept this one.
Garcia is a guy that hasn't ducked challenges in his career so far so I would hope that would continue with him moving up.
