Why should Floyd care about who you want him to fight?

Why should he care? Because we pay to see him fight. That's why. We asked for the Canelo fight. We got it. I'm grateful for that. I even sent Mayweather a tweet thanking him for listening to us fans.

Now I want the Pacquiao fight. He's in the entertainment business, he should care. How's that too much to ask? Should be a good fight. Aren't you interested in seeing the fight? Are you more of a Mayweather fan or a boxing fan? Are you scared he might lose? Boxing will go on, you know, that is, if you really care love boxing.

I blame the fans for that fight, they pushed for it.
I made threads on here saying how it would go but people justified the farce as usual.
Floyd must of been so grateful they picked out somebody so made to order for him.

But lets not go on like Floyd has ever cared what the fans think of his opponent selection.

He did the sensible thing; Seen huge money for fighting a kid made to order that was being pushed. No risk, all reward, just how he likes them.

I don't think he cares because he has the Showtime deal and he makes a fortune every fight. I thought he made a good pick fighting Canelo and it made him huge money. My only complaint was the 152 pound limit on a world title fight for the 154 pound title. That's why I don't accept Mayweather as the lineal champ at JR.middleweight. The JR. middleweight limit is 154, not 152. You can't be the lineal champ unless you win and defend the title at 154. You can't just start your own new weight class. I think his fight with Khan is garbage but like you say, why should Floyd care what I think? He will make another fortune no matter what fans like me think of his choice of opponents.

The sad thing is, you just know the guys who often make posts on here calling Khan a joke..will be amongst the ones trying to justify him as a credible opponent once the fight is made.

Before the Canelo fight there were several threads saying he was afraid of canelo,would duck him or was forced to fight him...then when he toyed and dominated him all the sudden it was a cherry pick??? after that crap why the **** should he care how anyone feels????

This right here. Without us he isnt making maximum profit. That Khan card is gonna fold hard. Their gonna need another Lucas/Garcia type fight to even get half the views of the Canelo card.

Because he's in an entertainment sport where were the boss, for one. For two don't tell me he don't care about his image in the audience and fans eye. He wants to be known as the greatest. He is in his own mind. Well maybe the greatest defense and the greatest points fighter. He ain't a drag em out blood and guts fighter like I'm sure he wishes he was. He isn't entertaining. Most people watch him to see if he's finally going to lose. But he will do anything it takes to win. Even if he has to dope fiend on you and take a cheap shot.
