Has Floyd lost respect in your eyes? Does he deserve to be P4P #1?

Based on the recent pictures of his snake. Have you lost respect for him as a man? I understand not everyone has an ATG Snake like Canelo, but I thought my hero would be packing a little bit more.

For me this moves him down on my P4P list. I had him at 1, but now he's closer to 5-6. Some might argue this has nothing to do with his boxing skills, but I think this new information sheds a glaring light on the catchweight with Canelo. Canelo truly was at a huge disadvantage going into that fight.

Well, you make my point. He's made a lot of very talented boxers look mediocre. So the question is, why not fight ALL of those other fighters in their prime? He would have been favored against each one, and rightfully so. Instead he took the easy route and fought lesser competition to preserve his record. That's not what real champions do. I understand he's in it for the $$ and not the glory, but not challenging himself during all those years will always cast a shadow of doubt over him. Even if he had lost along the way to some of those guys, he would still garner tremendous respect and adoration. It's his willful disregard to fighting the biggest threats during recent years that is bothersome.

sometimes i wish floyd had lost the first castillo fight, that would have forced him not to preserve his 0, but forced him to prove that he was the best, and i think he would have taken alot harder road to prove that,,

and yes, i would favor floyd over everyone in his era,, you would have to go back to the days of prime oscar, tito, shane, ike, vargas to find a guy that would really be a threat to him, and of course manny was a threat

Seriously though, Floyd is hanging onto that p4p no. 1 spot by the skin of his teeth. His next opponent needs to be Bradley, Pac or Lara/GGG at 154, if not, which will be the case, then have this fool fight someone like Khan, Garcia, Thurman, Porter or Broner/Maidana winner and win by KO. If that don't happen and Martinez manages a Cotto/GGG fight and wins, he gets the number one spot. If not, then Ward jumps up there. Simple as ******s!
