It sucks for him that he has all this stuff that works against (small, not much of a fan base, doesn't speak English, not the most enthralling style to average people) him but not everyone can be a rockstar he is going to have to adjust his expectations or something.
Good post. Rios probably isn't a headliner.

Only way a card takes place is in Miami is if Rigo headlines. But HBO is not going to let Rigo headline anymore. A Rigo Miami card would have to take place on ESPN.

I never said the arena was packed for Rigo or that people didn't leave. I simply repeated the same thing people who were there claimed.

They said after the majority of the people left there was still a decent crowd for Rigo.

Like I said earlier. 2 more headlines

          1. Donaire rematch
          2. Lomachenko

#1 isn't a guarantee because Donaire looked like **** in his last fight and may take an L in the near future.

After that its undercards, co-features and travelling to Europe, Japan, South America or wherever.

Luckily its 2013 and we can watch fights all over the world.

boxing simply would not thrive without the support of casuals.

"I uuhh uhh never said uhh". You were dis*****g our claims like you had facts. Calling it BS and that people were on the other side, and that HBO only showed one side lol.

Next time make sure you confirm the facts yourself. Makes you look really ******.

A guy about to jump off a building attracts a bigger crowd. Possibly even more PPV buys too.

Well HBO did it right by putting an all action fight in the co feature (Tapia/Kirkland). But I think they need to have a co mainevent. Put another star on the card with Rigondeaux.

I have no issue with him being on TV and making his living as he is very good at boxing but dude should not be headlining there is literally no reason to have him as a main event guy right now.
