Speaking of VisionQwest, has Manny paid them for their work? Cause I seem to remember Visionqwest making a ruckus about Manny not paying them for their work.

Last week, the FH website broke the story about the IRS' $18 million lien on Pacquaio. Ronnie Nathanielz wrote an article dis*****g the story. He again quoted Michael Koncz denying the story, as if that was all that was needed to prove the story was false. Again, the story proved to be true.
Now, he is writing a story that quotes Michael Koncz, who admits the story is true, but that it is simply an accounting error.
Do we need any more evidence than this that these allegations are true?

Also some years back I was assessed a large amount because of a U.S. investment. I'd never lived there or even visited, other than many years ago I used to drop over to "xxxxxx" to chat with Loretta Lynn, before she became an international figure.. I fought the case and won, although it took the IRS 4 years to repay what they'd deducted. They once kept me on the phone for nearly 8 hours, plus switching me from department to department and back again....They also paid-I think 8% interest which was much more than any other investment was paying then.
All tax authorities heap on lots of extras, costs, interests, penalties, re-assessed valuations etc.etc., knowing that they will be objected to, but counting on individual lack of staying power to win at least some of the piled on charges and/or come to a negotiation. They are nothing more than crooks with a legal licence to steal.
Arum, a Harvard Summa Cum Laude, Top of his Class, lawyer, was the head of a tax department in Robert Kennedy's time, and has surely knows what's what. At the same time, with a huge promotional company with many employees and departments, he will have delegated just about everything by now, and certainly would have his own tax lawyers who would give advice to him. He will know the old saying "The lawyer who has himself for a client is a fool".. He would mostly be making announcements based on the information he is handed by Top Rank employees or his lawyers.
The promoter's fee is 27%, and if you look up what a promoter has to do to earn that, you'll find that it's well earned. And the witholding tax is 30%. If they find your tax owed is less, you eventually get a rebate. It all depends on what deductions are allowed.
All the sharky, drooling, half-imbeciles here make me want to vomit...all over them. If MannyP was not so famous we'd never have heard a word about what it a very normal occurrence in what has to be a huge conglomerate. Likely many boxers with lesser paychecks also get "re_assessed"...
I could be wrong, but I felt that the "signing bonuses" that Koncsz was talking about were what MannyP Promotions was paying to fighters THEY had signed. It is a working promotional company.

Another thing may have caused the firing could have been that he'd found out that Vision Quest was acting for Phloyd Mayweather when he was messing Mandela's daughter around and decided he couldn't trust them. Purely speculation on my part but possible. There was a lot of tension between Pacquiao and Mayweather around the Vision Quest time.
