Do you honestly think Sturm will give Martin another shot though?
Soliman is his mando and he'll most likely bring him back, and then from there he can fight whoever he wants until he retires. If anything Geale will get another shot before him since he beat him.
Martinez might rematch him to finish out his last HBO fight, but with that near loss who knows.
Everybody is just sitting around hoping to get picked.
I understand nobody wants to lose the big money day for a mid money day, but the competition for it is fierce with 2 shots a year for Sturm.
Martinez is already occupied. He has Cotto, then Rubio, a free fight then he's pursuing Canelo before retirement

If Murray has the opportunity, like Martinez or Sturm handed him those fights, then there really shouldn't be a problem with him taking it since they will be more, presumably.

I agree though, Murray is just waiting for it to happen, but understand why he doesn't want to fight Golovkin since he'll most likely lose those shots after the fight.

It does look bleak like you said though. Best chance is Sturm and who knows who he fights next. He might be looking to rematch Macklin instead of Murray, or his mando Soliman. Or...even worse... he could just fight the bottom of the IBF and make money at home.

Would be nice to see him fight Geale, but like him... everybody waiting for a call....Geale just more likely since he beat Sturm
