Convenient duck, "he needs to build his name up".

So we've let it come to that. Fighter A should be fighting fighter B. But fighter B is one dangerous Kat. Lots of power and excellent boxing skills.

The fans of fighter A. "Who's this guy" Who knows him? He needs to build his name".

The convenient excuse made up for ducks. So this is what we've come to huh.

LOL. The Promotional Company brainwashing method. It worked. Now fans care about promoters best interests as opposed to their own.

This is absolutely correct. Disgusting. Fans apply this crap to their fav fighters as if the are the managers. The only thing worse is the whole "Why should he fight him? He brings no money"..Who cares about that crap. We pay for the fights, we dont GET paid.

It's not really that imo, it's just that they're resigned to reality.

Sure did. Only 2 fighters have that right. And their names are not Broner/Canelo.

Fans just follow suit to what their figters say. It should be obvious most dudes here defend their fighters till death and will buy anything they sell. I mean what the hell do we care how much their banking we should expect/demand the best fights regardless of monetary compensation. Posters here all feel like their promoters going on and on about ppv sales ad guaranteed contracts like their going to see a dime.

The only time such "excuse" should be used is if someone is competing for the Mayweather/Pacquiao sweepstakes.

Most fans are just reiterating what they hear on TV. This isn't a new excuse-its been around for ages. A ton of guys who were deserving-like Hagler for instance-had to wait years before they got their break. It's not always fair but in any business that has an entertainment factor its going to happen.
