i thought arum withholds his taxes and remits it to IRS

arum is stealing even the amount that's supposed to be for pac's US taxes...no wonder he was so defensive when the tax agency in the Philippines slapped pac with back taxes. arum is not remitting to IRS the full amount he withheld from pac's purses.

I'm also laughing that you called it a "Disney ANIME."

Will be interesting to see how this unfolds
What did Arum say? I can't see the quote, but one thing I know about lawyers is that they're prudent when it comes to covering their tracks.

Ask Arum that. He himself claims he does take care of them.

And the answer is pretty obvious, Manny never even finished 3rd grade or something like that? How is he going to know anything about filing taxes. Sh-t i'm doing accounting to hopefully get into taxation and I get a little lost sometimes.

Arum is very smart, but smart people get caught up all the time because they think they are smarter than the system.

Hubris sucks when it comes back around.

I don't think a lot get caught up because they think they are smarter than the system. A lot of times they actually are smarter because the system has so all sorts of holes to exploit. Really, I think most get caught up because they get too greedy. They can't keep their greed in check.

Maybe I'm being really naive here but isn't this stuff why you pay accountants colossal amounts of money? I don't know how boxers end up in these situations.
