The 50m issue will be pushed away due to the treaty between the two countries

The point is if Bob had said to Manny I paid all of your taxes, and now this had come up, what did Bob do with Mannys money? Keep it?

Or did he give it Manny whilst underpaying the taxes thinking he could get away with it with the irs
Or is manny in on the whole thing and is cheating on his taxes like you said floyd was?

    • Pac's generosity and naivete will lead him to financial ruin if he doesn't act soon.

That's what I meant in the end, I'm

I think it's all to do when the company Manny owns, arum said all payments are made to it and then wired, what tax rate would that be AT?

Manny earned 30m vs Marquez, on fight night 6m was given to him
        Taxed at 30 percent

The question the other 24m given to him, at what tax rate is this at? How is it paid

This is either Bob and Manny paying less taxes through the company or its Bob taking 30 percent but not actually paying all of the taxes

Most likely it's the first as Bob knows from Don king, he would easily get sued by Manny

        • Remember we had Manny fans CHEERING this guy on for not actually telling NSAC how much he was actually making with his purses. The number would be like 4 million and they would say, "He's getting way more than that, he is just avoiding paying his taxes. Everyone does it, yada yada yada". Now look at this nonsense he's in now. Pathetic.

            • IRS problems are a botch!

His next fight purse will probably all go to paying taxes.

A fight against a top 10 WW... for free. Damn. Talk about no motivation.

              Side note:

Paulie >> Rios @ WW. Zab just fought a better WW than Manny.

****, Manny should have fought Paulie and Rios should have fought Zab.

All money earned by an athlete in the US is taxed at 30% less deductibles afaik. Not certain about that but I think that's how it works. Manny therefore would have had to pay 30% on all of the PPV upside that was paid thereafter, if that money was being paid to him personally. If it was being paid to a holding company maybe that changes things.

                  • It's super sad that the nicest people always get taken advantage of. Hope this gets resolved. Wouldn't wish this kind of bad karma on anyone.
