  • It's quite sad to hear but... he's been told to get away from them for awhile now. Most of the big names who were in TR left to go free agent or oscars case make his own huge promo company. They didn't do this just because. When you get big enough and actually look into the financial things yourself you realize how much more you can make on your own and how much you lose to others. I said in another thread a lot of reasons some people reject sponsers are because they make so much off you when you could do the same thing on a smaller level and make more for yourself.

He's getting screwed and it's been known for awhile VisionQwest said it awhile back and Pac was like nope I don't know I trust my guys...he should've looked deeper into it. If he resigns with TR though....I won't feel bad. Fool me once shame on me....fool me twice...shame on you.

You only think that because it's what you would do had this post been about Mayweather.

          2. US Federal law requires that when a foreign fighter fights on US soil, the promoter must withhold 30% of the purse and forward it to the IRS.

          3. In regards to #2, I would suspect (just my opinion) that the 30% was withheld and paid on the "guaranteed contract purse" only, as this would have been under the oversight of the commission. I also suspect the tax issues that are in question here are in regards to ppv upside money that was paid later, NOT the initial guaranteed purse money.
There is a lot of fiduciary shenanigans actually. I don't know about the people hired to do the audit but from the perspective of agency NOBODY but the person who is the client should have a a say about hiring or firing...Otherwise how can there be transparency?
