He beat Trout by a much wider margin than Canelo beat Trout. To me that does not make him a sure winner over Canelo. Canelo has fast accurate combinations to the head and body. Canelo has serious power in both hands while Trout is not a big puncher.Lara showed in his fight with Angulo that he can be hit and hurt so Canelo has a good chance to win in my opinion.

Stop it. This has got to be one of the biggest myths in boxing.

I thought that was squashed after he landed flush on Mayweather and didn't even dent him.

Lara hits harder and is more accurate then Trout. And Canelo fights nothing like Angulo. I see a win for Lara. Probably easier then Floyd made it.

Ditto. I don't get this "Angulo dropped him twice, imagine what Canelo does to him". Canelo and Angulo fight nothing alike. Canelo has below average output, no gas tank, and really doesn't like getting hit. It's like the opposite of Angulo.

Close fight, but Canelo gets the nod. Lara still wins every round.

Angulo has 3x the stamina and output that Canelo has. That's what bothered Lara, that this guy just wouldn't stop coming. Canelo will probably try to box Lara, like he tried with Floyd and Trout, no pressure tactics cause it makes him gas quick.

Trout is by far p4p Canelo's best win (if you had him winning). His 2nd best win is shot to ****, undersized Mosley.

If no one is willing to fight Lara, he should move up to 160 and call out GGG. GGG would accept the challenge and it would be a great domestic fight. Or maybe Kirkland would fight Lara? Also a great fight!

Canelo is a hype job and was put to pedestal for marketing purposes and when it comes to skills, Lara will dominate Canelo like fLOyd did. After what Floyd did to Canelo, watching Saul with any fighters is a complete waste of time because this guy is a wanna-be boxer, he is better off being an actor. This kid can act like a tough hombre! Floyd-Lara would be a great fight!

lara isn't as skilled as floyd but still lara is bigger and stronger. he has more power than floyd at 154. he could KO canelo, honestly.
