He beat Trout by a much wider margin than Canelo beat Trout. To me that does not make him a sure winner over Canelo. Canelo has fast accurate combinations to the head and body. Canelo has serious power in both hands while Trout is not a big puncher.Lara showed in his fight with Angulo that he can be hit and hurt so Canelo has a good chance to win in my opinion.

Excellent post, finally some logical thinking! Lara was getting worked by Vanes and hit by "flat footed" Angulo. Canelo gets a hold of Lara, he won't make the mistake Angulo did - trust me. If Angulo can get to Lara, Canelo can. And Canelo is faster and smarter.

It depends if Lara generates enough fans after a Canelo win. My guess is he would but not enough for Floyd to risk his health. If you know what I mean.

Why would Lara, or anyone else worth a damn, want to fight Molina? The guy is dangerous, hard to look good against and brings no money. Landy is trying to do what anyone in their right mind would try to do: get paid. There are three guys at 154 that offer real bucks: Floyd, Canelo and Cotto. Everyone else is just a distraction or a means to an end. Trout was a means to an end. Molina is a distraction.

And what do you think Canelo is trying to do, genius? Get paid. Lara and his ten fans aren't going to bring in any money. If Lara is down for like a 95 to 5 split for Canelo then I'm all for that fight.
