Yeah Thurman's a pretty good size welterweight. And regardless of what people say. I think AB is still a jr welterweight, if not a lightweight. But the skill level gap is so wide between the two I think AB would be a pretty good favorite and I'd give Thurman nothing more than a puncher's chance.

As for Guerrero, I'm past tired of that guy. He basically talked his way into a Floyd fight. And now he thinks he's some kinda big shot based on getting beat up by Floyd. And now, he's basically trying to talk his way into another big payday based on nothing. He wouldn't fight Thurman. And all he wants to do is sit around talking **** and hopefully get a fight with AB. **** him. At this point, it wouldn't hurt my feelings none if I never saw his punk ass fight again.

honestly,, if porter fights the way he did vs alexander i think broner is in for some trouble.

Porter reminds me of a tim bradley, with alittle more pop,, when he fights determined like he did vs alexander, i think he is a nighmare for broner, and i think he would outwork broner to a decision

Would love to see this fight

I would be OK with Porter fighting the winner of Broner vs Maidana! Thurman vs Soto Karass as well!

I was thinking the exact same thing myself. Strange. Not seen that said yet.

They aren't exactly alike of course but they have plenty of similarities.

Not great in any area but solid in every area, lots of heart.

Bradley's definitely better IMO but I see the comparison. And Bradley's of course a lot more proven.

Yeah they both remind me of holyfield in the early 90s at heavy when he was always the smaller guy usually around 208-215 (pre-steriods) and everyone was considered bigger, stronger, bigger puncher, etc,, but holyfield always found a way to win because of his mental toughness, much like bradley and porter..

Bradley is much more proven like you said, so im interested to watch porter in some wars and see how he reacts when faced with a ruslan type fight...

but yeah porter seems to be a goon that wont back down just like tim

Porter definitely proved alot this past weekend. IMO Maidana walks thru Bonehead since Bonehead can't much deal with pressure fighters, but if not then sure let Porter finish him off. It'd be good riddance I say.

I like it; outboxing Alexander is no easy feat.

Porter has a lot of options at 147. Broner has to get past Maidana first. I can't wait for that fight this weekend.

Propst to porter on his win but its ur biggest win of ur career over a guy who lets face it was the weakest champion at 147 not sayin devon sucks or taking anything away from porters talent but calling a guy like broner out so fast is just dumb i say fight a couple manditorys keep ur belt for alil bit porter broner would take it easy alot of ppl are gunna start seeing what AB is really about come saturday night an when he beats dana i hope he gets the cred he deserves i doubt it tho watch itll be nothin but excuses and hate.

If Broner beats Maidana, put him in with Porter. Showtime is gonna kill him!
