Comments Thread For: Leo Santa Cruz Aims To End Seda With a Knockout

WBC super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz (25-0-1, 15KOs) will defend his title this Saturday in San Antonio against Cesar Seda Jr. (25-1, 17KOs), and he wants a KO finish!

In a matter of fact fashion Leo stated: “I never have been over confident about a fight. I've trained very hard, because Seda is a very tough rival who’s only been defeated once.

I have only seen Seda fight twice and both times he looked average to me. Santa Cruz is going to be alot to deal with

I seriously think once someone takes his best shot and boxes him he will lose. Mares would be one of those guys.

Hopefully he will after this. I want to see Mares-Santa Cruz in particular, very very badly.

It won't be so much taking the shot, because Santa Cruz is never looking to land one shot, but the guy who either hurts him or never lets him set, or both.

That being said, while better competition will reveal his limitations, Santa Cruz is a technically sound fighter behind all those punches, which is a big reason he looks so good and will be a very good champion.
