it's a decent fight if he plans on moving up, only downside is paulie's lack of power, I'd prefer if he fought someone with a little more pop to test that WW power.

danny's in a precarious place at the moment, cause he just got crowned the top dog at 140, he's young, but there's the possibility of the floyd fight at 147. I'm sure it'll be a tough decision to make.

Paulie wants those big fights and paydays. Garcia is at his prime so no way Paulie will be able to cruise to a comfortable decision like he did against an old Judah.

I already had suspected that if Paulie won the Judah fight they were going to try to match him up with Danny

Paulie style would give Garcia problems

I actually am close to making the same prediction. Paulie can box the socks off of a lesser boxer and as good as Danny Boy is, he's a few steps below Paulie on the "boxing" side of the fence. Heart, power, countering, timing etc he is great at but when Paulie want's to fight to not get hit, he can and wil unless you can push the envelope and I don't know if Garcia has a gear that can deal with a purest boxers elusiveness.

Don't get me wrong on this response Daggum, I do hear what your saying about the C+ fighters test for Danny. But take this in, Paulie has only lost to Broner, Hatton, Diaz, Khan and Cotto. Broner was too young and too good of a boxer for Paulie at this stage. Khan was lightning quick and has pop so he was giving Paulie hell. Diaz is a heeeeavy pressure inside fighter and had a great chin in his prime day so Pauie couldnt keep him off, same goes with Hatton. Cotto no explanation is needed. Danny is not any of those guys stylistically in the ring. He doesn't have the boxing ability of a Khan or Broner, the ability to be an in ur chest pressure fighter like of a Hatton or Diaz, and doesn't have the complete package of power, speed, chin, in and out fighting like Cotto the machine does. Danny doesnt have the foot work and work rate of a hatton or Diaz to stay in Paulies chest like he would need to, his best chance would be his counters but with Paulies style, he likely wouldnt land enough of them to slow Paulie down. I could seriously see Paulie neutralizing Danny with 300 jabs and winning a very boring boxing match. And im one of Danny's biggest fans amongst all his haters. Just stylistically this would be a good fight for Paulie to take, not so good for Danny Boy. But i hope Garcia would ice him, Danny's my dude!

Yeah and he arguably won 2 of those, could have been 35-3. Only Khan, Cotto and Hatton beat him clearly.
