I hear people talking about what a display he put on against Agbeko, and how his opponents just don't want anything to do against him, based on what we saw last night again. Nothing happened that I didn't expect. Agbeko hasn't really been relevant since 2011, but it's nice to see Rigo got another HBO fight. Too bad we'll never see Rigo-Santa Cruz.
Idk what forums you're reading but the only ones on here saying Rigo put on a display are only a handful.

I'm gonna tell you the truth, I was bored to death. I was only impressed with how he completely shutdown Agbeko. Everything else I had already seen.

Why is Rigo at his 'natural weight' (rehydrating a few pounds) but Floyd (who rehydrates a few pounds aswell) is fighting above his?

I think its pretty clear Rigo has more power than FM to be honest. Mayweathers power keeps guys honest, you dont want to keep running into it all night for sure, but few of his shots would knock someone out. Rigo's left sounds like a ******* going off and has guys visibly scared from the first or second round.

Thats ignoring the fact that power is not relative through the weightclasses. HW's have more one punch power than MW's, WW's have more one punch power than BW's

But Floyd grew into welterweight. Full fledged. he can fight no lower. The comparo is valid. Both are over 30 and both are full fledged in there respective weightclasses. Floyd moved up and grew in size. Rigo turned pro late. You can't compare a 22 yo Floyd to a 33 yo Rigo. Sorry, does not work like that.
Thats exactly it. I just didn't know how to word it properly.

Man Rigo won't even go up to 126 lol, you can't be serious this Rigo hype has gone to far. He is good but staying at 122 when there is nobody left shows he is not confident in his skills, he needs to go to 126, and fight guys who can challenge him than we can see how good he is, Floyd has fought much bigger men and beat them, while Rigo is crying saying 126 is too big for him.

when he goes to 126 and caps out at 130 and beats guys convincingly Ill give him props

Even in the Donaire fight, he set the tone in the first round when he told Donaire "Im faster and hit harder than you."

He simply didn't show any intimidation despite being referred to as the chinny fighter.

I agree. I didn't take this as a Floyd diss at all but you know how some people get.

Floyd, Ward and Rigo all do a great job of taking away what their opponents to best, fight at their pace and staying in command throughout the fight.

              You're a funny guy.

Hagler only fought in one weight division so what's your point? Hagler must've been a fraud too?

You see the difference here is, Rigo has been fighting guys bigger than him all the time. As to where Donaire did the total opposite.

Just trying to give Rigo and what he does some more recognition. That's all.

Considering the fact that Agbeko normally throws 1000 punches in a fight, makes what Rigo did to him that much more amazing.
