The same people who enjoy movies for the great cinematography and tell you that you just don't get it. And just because I say it's boring doesn't mean I don't see his greatness it's just watching his greatness puts me to sleep just ask the tens of people at the fight last night. Just so Rigo understands even a rematch with Donaire doesn't mean you get the lions share of the pot you don't sell tickets.
Casuals need to understand the genius that is Guillermo Rigondeaux.

When you think bout it, this is the same Agbeko that fought two twelve round scraps with Mares. Why was he so loose with Abner but not Rigo? It doesn't take a brain surgeon to surmise that "El Chacal" hits very hard and accurately.Comment

Hell yeah he hits hard he had Donaire running in the 12th round of their fight. When Rigondeaux throws a punch he makes it count and it must sting because all of a sudden the opponents output goes down.Comment

Donaire tried taking the fight to Rigo in the first round of their fight. Guille stood his ground and exchanged. After that, Nonito decided to take a little off the gas. By the final round, Donaire was running for his life. Not too often you see a top-five P4P fighter do that.
There's a documentary with George Chuvalo where he describes his fight with Ali. He said something to the effect of, "You see him on TV and you know he's fast; but when you're actually in front of him it's like, 'Oh, my...oh, my, my, my, my.'" That's what it must be like to finally face Rigo in the flesh. No amount of training can prepare you for what's to come.Comment

Yeah I agree. His opponents are very concerned with his speed and power they look puzzled in the ring.Donaire tried taking the fight to Rigo in the first round of their fight. I felt from the start that Bob Arum made this fight to further make Rigondeaux look uglier. Come on, Agbeko? Every one was hyped for this for some reason, but not me.I saw it as disrespect from Arum, leading up from his other disrespectful comments about Rigondeaux.Fans don't put out their hard-earned money to watch someone be a defensive master. That is not nor has it ever been the epitome of boxing.
Casuals don't need to understand anything they don't already. Warriors that lay it all down and take risks will continue to be rewarded, guys that fight like Rigo will continue to fight in front ot small crowds of boxing purists.
If that's how guys want to fight, fine, but the fans don't owe them a living.
I didn't see Pacquiao exciting vs Clottey or Mosley, but then he's very exciting against fighters who come to him with no defense. Why not Rigo vs Arce? or Montiel? or Vazquez Jr? Same guys you fed to Donaire, give them to Rigo. I saw nothing exciting about Donaire-Narvaez. Agbeko didn't want to open up, Rigondeaux out threw him and had to throw punches to make Agbeko open up, to no avail. Put Rigondeaux in with defenseless brawlers and watch him look exciting.Comment

I'm telling you, he imposed his power in the very first round of his last 2 fights and both Donaire and Agbeko reacted the same: Rarely throw punches. That straight left he hit Donaire with backed him up and it was pretty obvious that punch had Donaire nervous the whole fight. He came out pretty brave in the center of the ring, but then boom, left hand and Donaire wants noting to do with that left again. To Agbeko it was an uppercut when he was charging in with his head in the first round. King Kong was easily tamed immediately after that, you can look at his face how humbled he got after those repeated uppercuts.Comment

I love chess. I can watch two good players play anytime. Any strong chess player will. The key is that you have to know what you're looking at. To the untrained eye, it's just two men shuffling pieces around a checkered board. But to a good player, it's a world of infinite ideas and possibilities. I've learned a lot just by watching, and been entertained just as much. It's much the same with Rigo.
Bro it's like watching someone play chess while taking 70min to make a move, and when he does, another 50min to convince himself to let go of the piece.
***** was boring bro.Comment
