Casuals need to understand the genius that is Guillermo Rigondeaux.

This guy is the epitome of boxing, hit and not get hit.

I do understand the point of view from a casual boxing fan saying it's not so exciting watching, there isn't much going on, we wanna see a war etc, but this is not the man for that job.

When this man fights, the exciting part is wondering when is he gonna get hit, how the other opponent is gonna approach a guy with such a amazing counter attack abilities and defense.

Just like the compubox said, Agbeko has a record for a lot punches landed in four fights, but when he encountered Guillermo Rigondeaux, he also made another record.......for almost landing none.

When I watch Mayweather fight I'm not looking for someone to knock him out, I'm looking for someone who can crack his defense and put him in a uncomfortable position, after that happens so will his first defeat.

    "I don't like him! He's not brawling!"

This isn't checkers, this is chess.

    "I don't like him! He's boring!"

This isn't Scarface, it's The Godfather.

Good post. Your going to hurt a lot of feelings in here. Prepare for war.

I'll enjoy reading it in the morning.

I feel sorry for Agbeko. He was shut down in a way you rarely see anyone manage.

Bro, he's a boring fighter, deal with it. Flawless style for the amateurs, bad style to see in the pros.

You're coming across like some kind of boxing hipster there. You can appreciate his craft but still find him dull to watch.

I wonder how many people who enjoy those fights actually enjoy watching 2 men play chess

Fans don't put out their hard-earned money to watch someone be a defensive master. That is not nor has it ever been the epitome of boxing.

Casuals don't need to understand anything they don't already. Warriors that lay it all down and take risks will continue to be rewarded, guys that fight like Rigo will continue to fight in front ot small crowds of boxing purists.

If that's how guys want to fight, fine, but the fans don't owe them a living.

I love warriors but I also love the technicians. Only type of style I don't like is the constant grabbing of guys like Ward, Molina, Hopkins and Wlads.
