Donaire need not rematch this guy. The booing would again force Nonito, who is a counter puncher himself, to come forward and make mistakes. The Cuban is just basically waiting. There would be no activity if both are waiting to counter. The aggressor is disadvantaged. Donaire/Rigo rematch is a useless fight. It's probably twice boring than the first. This fight is hard to sell.
You're right, Donaire shouldn't take the fight because he'd just get embarrassed again.

Anyway, I didn't watch the fight last night and I appreciate the heads up that I shouldn't bother watching it at all.

Wht people fail to realize here is that boxing is a business AND even more now of entertainment. They lov to praise these slick, pot shot no action no risk taking boxers as its true boxing. Yes they great at it, but they aint making money big time like that. Why u think floyd developed that personality to cover his style.

Itll be hard for rigo to do that with the language barrier, so right now all he can do is try to go for the KO more and just fight the biggest n best at his division n beat em which he has always done. Hopefully, he goes for tko or ko against donaire next fight. Donaire so full of excuses

Not gonna lie Agbeko had me sleeping after watching 7 1/2 hours of boxing. Rigondeaux vs Agbeko was the last fight i watched last night. I enjoyed watching Rigondeaux but Agbeko had me sleeping no lie.

People keep blaming Rigo. I keep wondering why.

He's demoting world class fighters to try and just survive.

If agbeko wasn't fighting then why didn't rigo go for the kill? If your opponent isn't throwing punches then why not take advantage of that and impose your will on him and just unload ?

Rigondeaux did unload on Agbeko and was trying to land something clean all night. He's not just going to go all out and get caught with something. Agbeko is a tough fighter he could have countered Rigondeaux if he would have done that.

I watched this fight first and noticed that there were a lot of empty seats and it was so quite in there with the occasional boos from the audience.

Later I watched the West feed and realized that there were a lot more fans during the Tapia vs Kirkland fight.

When was the last time you saw more people watching the undercard versus the main event? Crazy huh?

That's right. Even Ward complimented Agbeko, basically saying Rigo feared getting countered himself by a pro.
