Trout didn't say that I don't think. I know who did say that though. One of those British guys that was calling the fight. Those were his exact words and after he said it there was silence for like 10 seconds straight.Comment

Once again grammar ****, who are you to dictate how other people should raise their own children? Oh and now it's against the law to take your children to a boxing event? Beating your children and taking them to a boxing show are two completely different things and prove your argument is fallacious.
Are you a psychologist or social worker that has conducted extensive years of research to come of the conclusion that boxers are "potentially causing their innocent kids long term issues" by taking them to watch a fight?
Beating kids and allowing them to attend a boxing match aren't the same, but you wouldn't (or shouldn't) stay shut if someone beats their kids before you. Why would you remain quiet if they're potentially harming their kid's psyche?
I'm not a shrink, nor do I have to be, to have a reasonable su****ion that watching this kind of violence can mess with a child's head. Why do you think they have movie ratings? It's common knowledge that certain acute images can have an adverse effect on a developing mind.
Smoking is legal, but we all know it isn't good for you. It was legal to smoke in hospitals and airplanes for a pretty long time, yet it isn't allowed anymore due to our understanding of second-hand smoke. It's conceivable, even likely, that they'll someday ban kids under a certain age from attending combat sports. Just because it hasn't been done yet doesn't mean it's okay.Comment

If you think that's bad, just remember that Joe Frazier brought all his kids out to see him live for the first time against George Foreman. That's gotta be the worst lol
Imagine seeing your dad fight for the first time and it goes like this:
I'd probably cry to deathComment

Cotto is a prime example of this. He always brings his kids to his fights and every time he loses they always zooms in on his family and them crying their eyes out. Its pretty damn sad. You should not bring your kids to your fights. I can see if this was Basketball or Football but this is boxing where you and your opponent intentions are doing physical harm to another.Comment
