Saying that a fight between Floyd Mayweather and James Kirkland will do Mayweather-Cotto numbers is on the same level of ******ation as saying jabs don't count regarding accuracy.

Golovkin is barely known. He's just come on the scene in terms of popularity and neither him or Sergio are even close to the draw Cotto is.

Neither of those fights would do 1.5 Million PPVs and generate the money Mayweather-Cotto did.

Like I said, Mayweather only fights above his weight class for huge money. All 3 of his 3 fights there have been against draws.

I think it is a more reasonable fight and easier to make..floyd should not have to fight middleweights period..and Kirkland???really??? Lara i wouldnt mind seeing but he wants Canelo next.and Manny has a fight lined up for April

So was Arturo Gatti's when he was at 140 at times.

So was Ortiz's when he was at Welterweight.

Fight weight's and being able to make a weight are two completely different things.

So you're saying that he should move up to 160? That's what Canelo gets for trying to pick on a smaller fighter.

We can play this game, man.

Gatti must have been well and truly drained, and probably water logged his body when facing Floyd as well.

If I'm being honest, I would pray for this fight if Floyd was indeed gonna fight Khan. i'd pray for it to be Porter instead.

Yes, Canelo should move up, he killing himself to make 154lbs let alone 152lb.

****** Canelo, was just chasing the money, got paid and made the most of his talent.
