Hes not going to fight Lara on the simple fact that Lara doesn't have a big enough name that can be sold to the public. Remember he is under CONTRACT with ShowTime. I think Lara and Canelo should fight and after Lara beats Canelo(which I honestly believe he will) then he will gain some popularity going into a fight vs Mayweather. As of now, a fight with between the two will not sell that much. I would love to see this fight as well but It isn't going to happen unless he beats a guy like Canelo because Canelo has a big fan base and this will attract people into a Lara vs Mayweather fight.

I did not mind the Alvarez fight tho,it made perfect sense..IMO as much sense as this fight with Lara does..I just can't stand anyone insulting my intelligence and saying this fight won't sell..When the Guerrero fight did over 800K ppv buys which is pretty damn good..It's annoying..

I understand the Alvarez fight but I called it 120-108ish the moment it was being discussed. But it was too big and too high in demand for it not to happen so I accept it.

But, if Alvarez won, it was a win/win situation for GBP and ShowTime. So they didn't mind shoving it down our throats. Same with Khan.

If Lara wins, its a business nightmare.

0% this fight ever happens. Even if Lara was a big name Floyd wouldn't fight him. One thing Floyd will never give up is any kind of reach advantage in a fight.
Lara would be able to keep Floyd away the whole night and Floyd would have no shot to land anything meaningful.

He doesn't need to, and the fight will most likely never be lucrative enough. Floyd is a '47 through and through, the fight can only happen if Lara beat Canelo or Cotto, that would make him big enough to get the opportunity, as for now I don't see it.

Nah. There are two types of Floyd fans. 1. That appreciate his skills, been following him in the "Pretty Boy Floyd" days and want to see him showcase his skills against the best. 2. Those that are in love with the "Money May" persona and only regurgitate what he says in his interviews about "not getting credit", "easy money, easy work" and all that other bull****. Category 2 will go out of there way to defend the Khan fight while category 1 will **** on the fight and demand Garcia and/or Lara.

Not all Floyd fans fall in category 2.
