Yeah, I don't think anybody was expecting Agbeko to fight so reluctant and only wish to survive, at least not that early. In retrospect, they should have gone with Kiko Martinez, I'm almost certain he would have made it a fight unlike Clottey Jr.

You are the most hurt of them all. Answer , why couldn't have Rigo who "took his soul" done a bit of inside work. Hooks around his defense , some uppers on the inside. I remember Cotto shelling up and Margarito opening that defense with some bomb.

      Why?

I'll wait. Next assessment. All you've implied is Rigo took his soul.

Acting like Rigo put a hurt on him.

I consider Mikey vs Martinez taking souls.
      Or Salido vs Juanma
      Or Segura vs Calderon

Agbeko couldn't find anything to hit and was getting pot shot. Rigo just doesn't have it in him to be more aggressive.
Even if your correct that works against your theory because that means Nonito had no excuse for a boring a$$ fight.

There was very little inside fighting but when it did happen Rigo definitely got the best of Adbeko

Those are knockouts of vulnerable opponents none of those guys where in their shell trying to survive Juanma was attacking Salido's fist with his face ffs throwing punches and getting caught for that to happen you HAVE to throw punches. Humiliation is what you witnessed but whatever floats your boat you're just upset everyone didn't come out and tell you how right you where...because you weren't. I couldn't be any happier with how things are going for Rigo people like you will always post threads like these while he keeps blasting away his competition wether it be by K.O or which to me a shutout is more impressive than taking an over matched guy with no good defense and putting a guy infront of him that is supposed to knock him the fk out and then he does woopty do what a surprise. If Agbeko would have been his usual self and Rigo knocks him the fk out in 3 your thread would be "Rigo picking on weak opposition and lacks blablablabla"

I don't need anyone to tell me I'm right. That's not what I'm looking for , I was looking for a discussion of why Rigo isn't able to finish the job. And if not finish the job , try to make Agbeko open up. Rigo has the Cuban system mastered. Good for him. Not much outside of that game plan. Not that he will need it to win fight.

I can't imagine a guy so good no being able to go inside. It's a hole. Don't be so hurt. I don't see anyone beating him.

I read someone said its not killer instinct he lack, it's the willingness to make things happen. So I'm going to take that one back and replace it with "willingness...."

He does lack inside game. And a chin.

                    That's just my opinion.

I would have liked to see him hook around the defense. To me the only reason why a fighter woyldnt do that to his opponent who is shelled up is lack of inside game playing it too safe.

If Rigo was Mexican he wouldn't be champ because he'd be willing to take 1 to dish 1 and he has no chin. So he would have been floored already.
