Rigondeaux was simply on another level than his opponent who didn't know what to do and was scared to get counter.
Also people need to stop saying Floyd name when mentioning him.. Floyd is at least a level above due to being able to do much more and not get knocked down.Comment

OH MY , Rigo is so Boring !! IS he good , sure, but he just does half the job, he won't commit to going for the kill.
All he does is make sure you don't land and counters but doesn't press for the kill.
Yall have fun watching him, I turned the fight off and went back to Showtime.Comment

The difference between Rigo and Floyd is Floyd was nurtured in the pro game at a very young age and has had 45 pro fights and almost 20 years of pro experience.
Rigo has 13 pro fights and less than 10 years of pro experience. Imagine if he was able to turn pro in his early 20's, fight about 10-15 tuneups and be developed like other pro fighters have?Comment

I think Rigo is better than the current version of Floyd. But he's not as good as the Floyd that fought Chico Corrales. Floyd could do everything Rigo does in the pocket. Was just as good a counterpuncher. Plus, his footspeed was world's better than Rigo's. And offensively, Floyd was a comboination puncher back then as well.Comment

I can understand not enjoying him against a no hoper. But I don't see how any fight fan wasn't entertained watching him undress Donaire the way he did. Taking a guy that's supposed to be one of the 3-4 best fighters in the world and making him look like a club fighter. Doesn't get much better than that to me.Comment

If you don't get hit, there is no chance in hell you are going to get knocked down. So if you can minimize how much you get hit, well, you increase your chances of not ever hitting the canvas. Simple concept and it does in fact relate to how good a fighter is defensively.
But just because a fighter gets knocked down, doesn't mean they aren't good defensively. It can happen to any fighter.Comment
