Finishing fights goes a long way with the fans. In my mind it is what separates the good fighters from the must see fighters.

So those are his only two choices?
Agbeko hit him. I want to see him return the favor...
It's like you fail to see what happened.
Rigo was getting more comfortable, opening up - Agbeko hit him, and he went back to his defensive shell.Last edited by Konstantin; 12-08-2013, 12:13 AM.Comment

Take a look at the empty seats in the arena. What are you going pay rigondeaux when nobody is going to buy a ticket and pay to see him fight?Comment

its like that in the US in nearly every arena that isnt in your hometown, especially when there is a mega card going in right now not that far away. My point also is that Kirkland & Tapia are on that card too. Why didnt people pay to see them?Comment

Agreed...
Floyd is really the only fighter maybe in the history of the sport to be must see tv, and doesn't really ko his opponents.
Fans want to see knockouts.Comment

It is a business. Look at that arena right now. He can be a great fighter but if people don't care to watch him he is worthless to promoters, managers, and cable companies.
Remember how much HBO wanted to distance themselves from Rigo after the Donaire fight? They wont be much more excited about it after this stinker.Comment
