NO! Barker was never that good to begin with!
Does Barker redeem himself in England?

strange to retire instantly.
I'd be the same though if I just dislocated my hip and earned a million Euros.Comment

I don't think he can improve that, it's natural. Based on talent and skill level alone I think Barker beats most middles out there apart from the elite such as Martinez but boxing isn't all about skills, it's also about physical strength and his body doesn't allow that.
unless they rebuild ma homez like the bionic man, Sturm will stop him again.Comment

I don't think he'll fight again now, He's too injury prone, and in a hard gritty fight with a strong fighter there's always a chance he's gonna get badly injured. But if he can return for next summer and have one last go and a last decent pay day against sturm there's a chance he may box again. Who knows.Comment

Dislocated hip is a bad injury, the type of injury you get towards the end of your life. I don't know if he can fully recover from it, but I don't see him turning down a contracted rematch in his home country.Comment

If Barker is not fit for the rematch, he will never fight again. I would be very very surprised if he did.Comment
