Barker was well aware of where he was and punching back, looked pissed off when the towel was thrown in. He's a warrior, he's been down against Martinez and Geale but still fought back. A disservice to Barker and the fans there. If the hip injury was that bad then I understand but Barker didn't seem to agree wit the corner's stoppage.

Sturm looked great, take nothing away from him, but that was not the same Darren Barker. He came in with a terrible gameplan to try to make it a phone both fight, and he ate punches every time he tried to get inside. Barker came out throwing uppercuts and body shots. He didn't need to do that.

Sturm came out blazing in round 1. Several exchanges and he clearly got the better of him.

Round 2 continued at a similar pace. Sturm dropped him with a right hand. Barker never seemed to fully recover and Sturm dropped him again. He got up, there were a few more exchanges, Barker took some shots and his corner threw in the towel.

I see a lot of people saying it was a rabbit punch but I have to see it again. I'll catch it again on YouTube. I saw it on a stream.

It looked to me that Barker clearly hurt something on the second knockdown. He was gesturing to his corner during the count, and clearly was limping when he made the way to the neutral corner when he got up.

If he would've survived that round, his odds of winning the fight would've improved dramatically. Sturm's pace and Barker's body shots would've had Felix without stamina by the 5th.

Well at least it was a corner stoppage and not questionable referee stoppage, so no conterversy at the very lest

Despite the win. Sturm loses to Murray, Quillin, Sergio, GGG and Geale again.

Barker came in with the wrong strategy and it backfired.

Quillin has massive challenges standing in the way before fighting Sturm like the long awaited rematch against Rosado and ofcourse the PPV megafight with Jacobs... lol!

Rosado doesn't need a rematch lmao and Jacobs would be a decent fight

Actually I agree with Jloro, Quillin beats him down. Quillin won't fight like a complete moron like Barker.
