Sturm landed an overhand right to temple and Barkers legs went baby-giraffe. A couple more shots put him down. He was up again and tried to cover up but Sturm bowled him over again. Again he got up and Sturm flailed away with little coming back from Barker. And then came the towel. Somewhat prematurely though as I thought Sturm was getting weary and Barker was recovering.

Sturm came out blazing in round 1. Several exchanges and he clearly got the better of him.
Round 2 continued at a similar pace. Sturm dropped him with a right hand. Barker never seemed to fully recover and Sturm dropped him again. He got up, there were a few more exchanges, Barker took some shots and his corner threw in the towel.
I see a lot of people saying it was a rabbit punch but I have to see it again. I'll catch it again on YouTube. I saw it on a stream.Comment

I thought Barker would come up with a better gameplan jeez...he just came out and went nuts in the first minute lol. Sturm still looks too sharp for that, at least while he has a full tank. Too bad about the towel, Barker has dug deep to continue on in the past. didn't know about the injury thoughComment

Soliman didn't have a title and that wasn't a unification fight and he got the decision in a fight he got dropped and could of went either way....
The point is Sturm dropped two decisions in very winnable fights in his last two fights in Germany, meanwhile every other week it seems there's outrage over a questionable decision by a British referee, or questionable judging by a judge in the USA...... The whole Germany-dead zone- good luck getting a decision- thing IS a myth, recently. At least in the past year or soComment
