John was a very good fighter but I saw the John-Marquez fight and I thought Marquez won easily by many points. In almost all the rounds Marquez took the fight to John and he landed more punches and harder punches. The guy from Ring that scored the fight 116 to 110 for John was way off the mark. I scored it Marquez 117 John 111.

I agree with boliodogs it was a clear Marquez win. As the fight with Juarez was a clea John win. Anyway interesting piece on a not that well known fighter.

I read in this tread that Cotto is undefeated but I saw Pacquiao win almost every round and knock Cotto out. Cotto ran away the last 9 rounds of the fight. I saw Margarito come from behind to KO Cotto and no proof Margarito's gloves were load, only assumptions. I saw Mayweather outpoint Cotto by a wide margin and I saw Trout beat Cotto in the Garden. I thought Cotto could easily have lost his fight with Clottey as well. Cotto is a good and very popular fighter but his is not undefeated. Not even close.

I don't think he won both Rocky Juarez fights. Rocky should have been Champion. In the second meeting, he was almost ko'd if it were not for the bell.

The end of an indonisian legend. I don't think he in the all time great featherweights but good fighter/champion.

John beat Jaurez easily in both fights and there is no doubt in my mind that John was an excellent fighter for many years and he will be in the hall of fame.
