I dont get how a board full of boxing fans cant understand that there aren't many options.

There are 8 potential options that become available in the next 2 weeks. 6 if you take Trout and Lara out for obvious reasons, and 4 if you take Maidana and Broner out because Maidana's worse than Khan and Broner's wannabe brother thing.

Still leaves 4 potential fights all better than Khan.

Floyd "Mrs. Pacquiao" Mayweather doesnt have enough firepower to keep Khan honest. Floyd outspeeds his opponents and never really engages. Khan is not only faster but hes a combination puncher. Floyd's ring ballerina act is good for the first 2 or 3 punches but he can be hit easily with 4,5 and 6. Team Mayweather knows this, and there's no way they'll fight Khan. My money says his next opponent will be someone you've never heard of that shares a last name with one of the poop scoopers on your gardening crew.

None of those fights are going to sell, especially Alexander. I'm a big fan of Thurman and think he'd make for a great opponent for Mayweather (either at 147 or 154) but he's still a bit green and still making a name for himself. That's a big fight than be made at a later date.
