That's true. He didn't give much away early against Pernell tho. Still got washed pretty badly going on.

Love JCC, but i think Floyd gives him hell.

I also think Floyd is a better fighter now than when he fought Castillo. (and the injury did make a difference.)

Depends at which point in time. .Chavez woulda got destroyed at 147. 135-140, it would be extremely close, toss up.

Injuries, weight draining, illness etc only counts when its against Floyd. To this day ppl will say corrales was drained against Floyd. But say he had a shoulder injury in the Castillo fight, which he did and which he had an operation for, and it doesn't count.

He did start faster in that fight although Sweat Pea still won, I don't care what the score was. But where I give Floyd the edge over Sweat Pea is he can fight on the inside. I think with Floyd's hand speed he could check hook + block Chavez' left hook to the body and counter that with the right upper cut on the inside.

You have to be kidding to think Floyd was a better in-fighter than Whitaker. My advice to you would be to go watch more film.

Yes, prime JJC was a beast and twice the fighter Castillo was. He would have undeniably beaten Floyd at 135-140 seeing as how most think Castillo did anyways.

At 140 & 135 El Gran CAMPEON makes him quit like his uncle. At welter it'll be more competitive, but Chavez beats him.

I said against Chavez. I never said Floyd was a better boxer. If you can't comprehend English than stop replying to my comments. But since your asking I do think Floyd is a better boxer.
