Not a good look for Froch. The rematch would garner a lot more interest and probably make him some coin. Does look like a duck. Unfortunate too, because I think Froch would stop him in a rematch.

Fair enough, I'll rephrase. The fans that I quoted, and those that think like them are jokes.I wouldn't call all his fans jokes buddy. His most loyal fans all seem to agree that Froch was losing and it was a bull**** stoppage. I'm sure a real Froch fan would be disappointed in him not giving a rematch as well. Kessler honored his word with the rematch so arguably, Carl should do the same thing.
This is a duck.Comment

imo best fight for froch next would be chavez jr. almost certainly the most money, more exposure in the US and a winnable fight.
froch needs to stay away from ward (at least for now) and golovkin (for ever).
win against chavez then the next move is froch's choice. lose he can still rematch groves (if he wants) for big money in the uk.Comment

Groves was out on his feet. Not sure what fight you were watching. Right after the ref stopped the fight, he fell down in the corner, not because of disappointment in the stoppage, but because his legs were gone.Comment

No longer a fan!..Lets do it again eddy..now lets not! I too thought carl was the real deal but found him really insulting and childish(in carls words) In the build up. He would be struggling all day long with Groves speed, jab, balance, youth and power.
A rematch would be by no means forgone conclusion for George infact a 50/50 affair of unfinished business, Carl obviously feels he's not up to it, doesn't want to go over old ground but doesn't mind Ward doing so and ensuring Kessler did.
In the words of George you're contradicting yourself Carl !
This is the fight everyone wants to see not Ward winning evey round of a fight or god for bid Chavez jr
Carl has done well to be in this position but this is a terrible swerve.Comment

What's even funnier to me is that after the Kessler rematch, Froch didn't want any part of a Ward rematch. He said a third fight with Kessler was a bigger priority. He thought he had found a mark in Groves and miscalculated badly. Now that he's been further exposed and knows that damn near anyone credible is gonna beat his ass. He wants to lose to Ward, GGG,or Jr. Because he knows that even if he loses to one of them% he'll be able to get one last big payday with Groves before his garbage ass is gone forever.Comment

What does a 'mark' mean? Groves was his mandatory and Froch didn't even want to fight him but he wasn't about to let Groves fight for his vacant belt. What's even funnier to me is that after the Kessler rematch, Froch didn't want any part of a Ward rematch. He said a third fight with Kessler was a bigger priority. He thought he had found a mark in Groves and miscalculated badly. This rematch will get made, it's just posturing at this point.
After Froch beats Groves, he'll fight Ward, Chavez or Golovkin i.e. continue to take on the best.Comment
